I believe therapy should feel like a soft place to land, but also a space where real growth happens. As a therapist, I approach each session with curiosity, compassion, and a steady presence. I want my clients to feel genuinely seen, especially in the moments when they feel stuck, unsure, or disconnected from themselves.
My approach is rooted in Adlerian theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. To me, this means that I look at the whole picture of who you are, including your early experiences, relationships, and inner dialogue, and help you make sense of how those parts come together. I believe we all have a deep desire to belong and feel connected, and I strive to create a space where clients can explore what gets in the way of achieving this. I show up authentically and encourage the same in return. When there is enough trust, we can begin the kind of work that leads to lasting change.
I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation, identity development, and relational struggles. I meet clients where they are and walk with them at their pace, offering both insight and navigation when needed.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me running with my dog or trying to improve my very average cooking skills by learning new recipes. I believe that joy and growth can coexist, and I bring that same balance into the work I do with clients.
I am an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Jacob Tutwiler, Med, LPC-S.
